The ultimate geography quiz – only the brainiest will be able to get these right

The most recent data tells us that more than one in five Britons are unaware that Europe is a continent.

It means millions of Britons potentially don’t possess a skillset ordinarily taught at a pre-GCSE level.

The poll, commissioned by British Airways Holidays in 2018, found that one in four did not know Antarctica was home to the South Pole.

Three percent โ€” the equivalent of 1.5 million people โ€” even believed Great Britain was its own continent.
